1973 MG B

This beautiful Harvest Gold, 1973 MGB with Overdrive was a one owner car until July of 2016. The second owner completed a total restoration in August of 2017 and due to circumstances beyond his control had to part with the car intended for his family's use and enjoyment.. The car was taken down to bare medal and professionally painted in the original color as stated on the British Heritage Certificate. The car spent most of it's life in California and only minor repairs were necessary. The original purchase receipt, owners handbook and receipts and other documents from the 70's on are included. Restoration pictures are also available to document the restoration. The restoration includes a new Leather Interior, dash pad, door panels, and carpet. A new wiring harness was installed with new interior switches. All gauges, lights, etc. are in good working order. An MG friend noticed that the interior lights were working and commented that he had never seen them work even though he has many friends driving the popular MGB. A new top was installed. The1.8 Liter engine was professionally rebuilt. The head was adapted for use with unleaded gasoline. New valves, lifters, seats and guides were installed. A re-built, fully synchronized, 4 speed transmission with overdrive was installed. A new exhaust system was installed. Approximately 500 miles have been recorded since restoration. The odometer shows approximately 90,400 original miles. Suspension work includes new differential thrust washers and suspension seals were installed. The shocks were re-built. New bushings, bump stops, and brake pads were installed and new springs were installed front and rear.
